New Social Features Strengthen the Community

The Imperial Duel Update introduces a suite of social tools aimed at bringing players closer together:

  • Friends List & Messaging – Players can now add friends, send private messages, and communicate more seamlessly than ever before. This feature is available even during combat and multi-battles, enhancing coordination—especially for mobile players.
  • Referral System – New referral challenges reward both new and veteran players, incentivizing more engagement and community growth.
  • Dueling System – Players can now challenge friends to duels, set up teams, and share battle replays in global and alliance chats. This opens the door for community-driven tournaments, allowing players to create their own competitive events.
  • Enhanced Arena & Competitive Play – The Arena has been revamped, making PvP battles more strategic and engaging by providing more insight into opponents.

A Stronger Single-Player Experience

The update isn’t just about multiplayer. The Imperial Duel Update also introduces improvements for solo playing:

  • Enhanced Tutorial & Early Game: A refined introduction and smoother transitions make the first impression stronger, improving retention for the first few days of playing.
  • Expanded Story Mode: A more structured narrative from week 1 to 3 in the player journey to ensure better engagement and a smoother transition into mid-game content.
  • Incursions System: A scalable event system designed to maintain player interest by offering timed challenges and rewards.

The Imperial Duel Update has boosted player engagement with new social features in Starborne Frontiers. The introduction of the friends list, dueling, and replays has brought in-game global chat to life, strengthening player interactions

The revamped Arena has been well-received, offering deeper competitive gameplay. Additionally, the update has already demonstrated retention benefits, as players actively use these new tools to challenge friends, analyze battles, and organize their own tournaments.

With these improvements, Starborne Frontiers continues to reinforce its social and competitive foundation, ensuring a more dynamic and engaging experience for its players.

The Start of Starborne Frontiers Esports

One of the positive developments following the update was the game’s first-ever tournament, held last weekend. This marks the beginning of Starborne Frontiers competitive scene, with players already organizing their own tournaments using the new dueling and replay systems.
